Saturday 19 September – Tuesday 15 December 2015
Poole Museum | 4 High St, Poole, Dorset, BH15 1BW
When Poole Pottery was a thriving manufacturer, workers were given time and materials to explore their own creativity alongside their routine jobs – they called this ‘Free Time’. The exhibition showcases original pottery as well as work created by artist Ian Giles in collaboration with people living and working in Poole. The community pieces are inspired by the iconic shapes and colours of the Delphis range from the 1960s and 70s.
This project is supported by Arts Council England and the Borough of Poole Arts Service.
